Lettings

De Vere offers its clients the choice of Full Management or a Letting Only service.

The Letting Only service includes:

  • Finding suitable tenants
  • Taking up references from employers and landlords
  • County court and credit checks
  • Collection of deposit and first month's rental
  • Drawing up of agreements
  • Compilation of full Inventory and arrangements for occupation

De Vere also provides:

Tenant Vetting

Before marketing begins, a member of the De Vere team vets all new properties. We ensure that each property meets the highest standards of cleanliness and conforms to all Health and Safety regulations. As part of our vetting process we stipulate any redecoration or improvements to fixtures that are required, before taking any new property onto our books.

Tenant Registration

When a prospective tenant visits us we ask for a simple registration form to be completed, in the strictest of confidence. This form covers such details as:
  • Rental budget
  • Preferred location
  • Optimum move-in date
  • Other specific requirements
  • Personal financial information
Once registration is complete, we immediately start searching for the required new home and can usually arrange a viewing within 24 hours.

For the first viewing, a member of the De Vere team will accompany potential tenants, so that in future they will know what to look for.

Further viewings may also be accompanied when required either by a Landlord or a prospective tenant.
